Our journey began bright and early, as the team gathered in the crisp morning air, eager to hit the road. Before heading to Jeti Tekong Gilo, we stopped at a local nasi berlauk stall near the jetty to fuel up for the day. With plates of fragrant rice, gulai fish, and sambal on our tables, we shared a hearty breakfast while enjoying the simple joys of lepak and laughter. With full stomachs and high spirits, we continued our journey to the jetty, where the sparkling blue waters of Perhentian awaited. The boat ride was an adventure in itself. As the waves splashed around us and the sea breeze filled the air, we felt our everyday worries being left behind. The sight of Perhentian’s lush greenery and pristine beaches growing closer only heightened our excitement. 

After checking into Shari-La Island Resort, we spent the afternoon snorkeling at various stunning spots. From colorful coral reefs to playful sea turtles, the underwater world left us in awe. The rest of the day was filled with lepak-lepak moments by the beach, enjoying each other’s company.

Dinner was a highlight—a mouthwatering seafood buffet under the stars. Fresh prawns, grilled fish, and good vibes made it a night to remember.

As we left the island the next day, we felt recharged and closer as a team. This short escape reminded us of the value of teamwork, both at work and in life. Here’s to more adventures ahead, together!
